Online Language Learning with “Tell Me More”

October 27, 2010 — cpcclibraries

Last month, the Library received a good bit of positive feedback about our trial of Mango Languages from the CPCC community. This month, we have a trial to one more online language learning service and would like your feedback on it. CPCC students and faculty have access to the online language learning site Tell Me More through November 30th, 2010. The library is considering purchasing this resource. Give Tell Me More a try and let us know what you think! Contact Kimberley Balcos (kimberley.balcos@cpcc.edu) with questions or comments.

The CPCC trial login is:

Username: trial
Password: trial

After using the CPCC trial login, each Tell me More user signs up for an individual trial account which allows you to save your progress in each learning module.  Individual accounts expire 30 days after activation.

Languages covered include English, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, and German (soon to include Chinese, Japanese, and Arabic as well).   Each language starts from beginner to advanced levels, and currently it has 17 interface languages, so you can learn French in Spanish, English, Italian, German, etc.
